SJ, the Swedish national railway company, has chosen to implement CAYZN, the real-time revenue management solution developed by Wiremind, to optimize its train load factors and maximize revenue potential.
Already used by major transport companies such as BlaBlaCar, OUIGO, and Itabus, CAYZN brings a proven track record of innovation in the transportation sector. The tool leverages advanced machine learning techniques to forecast demand accurately while dynamically tracking prices across various competing modes of transportation—including air and bus travel.
This new partnership between Wiremind and SJ was officially launched at the end of March when the Wiremind team traveled to Stockholm to kick off the collaboration. The visit marked the start of several months of intensive work, with the goal of having CAYZN fully operational by the end of the year.
Rémi Habfast, VP at Wiremind, emphasized the importance of collaboration from day one:
“At Wiremind we believe that there is no better way to start an implementation project than by allowing all project team members to meet in person and discuss all the major technical and business topics. This kick-off meeting has not only been very productive but also allowed to build the joint-project team and create user-enthusiasm for their future revenue management systems. We look forward to solving the integration challenges that have been identified and allow CAYZN to replace Blue Yonder's RPO and Expretio's Appia before the end of the year.”
As Wiremind and SJ move forward, the teams are focused on successfully integrating CAYZN into SJ's operations, replacing legacy systems with a cutting-edge solution tailored to today’s fast-evolving rail market. The collaboration marks another important milestone in Wiremind’s mission to deliver intelligent, scalable tools that support transport companies in optimizing their performance.
